The 2018 Agility Lunatics Summer Classic will be held on June 30th – July 1st in Dixon, IL at the Granny Rose K-9 Enrichment Center. Details are as follows.
- Cost will be $90 ($60 to prize pool and $30 to expenses).
- Each jump height will have a separate prize pool.
- A minimum of 67% of the entry fee will go to the prize pool.
- After expenses are met all extra money goes into the prize pool.
- 6 guaranteed rounds (3 jumping and 3 agility) with a 7th round as finals (agility).
- To be eligible for finals prize money must place 1st-3rd in the first 6 rounds.
- Depending on entry size, everybody may be able to run in finals.
- 1st place in rounds 1-6 win prize money—5% of prize pool.
- 1st-3rd place in finals wins prize money—40%, 20%, 10%.
- Scoring is time + faults with no refusals scored.
- Up contacts will be judged.
- 5 jump heights – 8″, 12″, 16″, 20″, 24″
- Cut-offs are the following:
- 8″ – up to 11″
- 12″ – 11.01″ – 14″
- 16″ – 14.01″ – 17.5″
- 20″ – 17.51″ – 21.5″
- 24″ – 21.51″ +
- Can choose to run at a higher height than you measure.
- No measuring will be done, but a height card from another organization will be required.
- Can choose to run at a lower height than your measured height.
- You will be expected to run as if competing, i.e. it’s not as FEO/NFC so not to be used as training time.
- Cut-offs are the following:
- Courses designed by Shane Miller and 4 FCI judges (Sabrina Hauser, Jiřina Máčková, Tamás Tráj, and Stefanie Semkat).
- Courses will be designed for large and medium/small.
- Bitches in season are allowed. Panties will be required. Will run in order.
- Judge will be Shane Miller.
- Location is Granny Rose K-9 Enrichment Center 613 River Lane Dixon, IL 61021
- Competition will be indoors on turf.
- Food will not be provided. Please bring your own.
- Start time will be determined once we have an estimate of entry size. Most likely between 8am-10am.
- Closing date will be June 15th.
