Onyx Du Loups Du Soleil OAJ NA NW2 – Onyx (DOB 2/09/13)

Onyx is a 3 year old Belgian Malinois that is your prototypical Malinois.  High drive, very intelligent, and with a small dash of craziness (the good kind).  She is by far the “busiest” dog in the pack.  If you so much as smile at her she will instantly be up moving and ready for whatever you want to do.  She is also a dog that has humbled me tremendously in the realm of agility training.  I thought I knew what I was doing because of how much success I had with Luna at such a young age.  Well, Onyx has reminded me that not every dog is like Luna and has kept me on my toes with having to figure out new ways to train her.  Unfortunately for her, I have not always been quick to listen to her so our training is behind where I would like it to be.  However, we are moving forward and I think 2016 is finally when we click and get to where I think we can only build on our successes.

Outside the world of agility, she is a very enthusiastic and successful nosework dog competing in the NACSW organization.  She has been trained and handled by my wife and so far has achieved her NW2 title.
